I worked very closely with him for the last 3 years and he was the kindest man. His sense of humor was wonderful and his laugh I can still hear in my head. I would call him and talk loudly over the classical music playing in the background, never even attempting to ask him to turn it down, we just talked louder. Heaven gained a wonderful leader. Bless you all.

I count Michael Kavanagh among the top echelons of respect of all the people I've met in my life. His attitude & countenance exuded dignity and clarity of purpose. I only had the privilege to meet Michael around a dozen times, but he truly had an outsized presence; the world is the worse without him.

Through my time at Six Flags, Kav has been a both a mentor and a friend to me. As a leader, he was always in the trenches with the local teams. He is the type of leader I aspire to be. I have learned a lot from him and I will cherish the time we had together. I hope to honor his memory by being the best person he had a hand in shaping me to be. He will always be missed and never forgotten.

Kav was a great mentor to me as I started my career in IT. He lead the team by example, drove us all to provide the best service possible and was always there to back us up whenever we needed it. I looked forward to every time he would visit our park and every phone call we had. I’ll hold this time we shared together very near and dear to my heart for the rest of my life. He will be sorely missed by all.

Mike inspired us all to do more, because he led by example. Down to earth, a caring and genuine person who loved and was loved by all. Mike was tireless at work, pushing us all to be our best and provide the best service possible. He always spoke so gently of his wife and family - you could feel his love in his words and emotions. I must add - his recipe for corned beef is also excellent and I break it out every March! May he rest in peace and know he is loved.

Mike was one of my favorite dads of all time!! Fall Festival hasn't been the same since Brit moved on to MAMS. We still talk about his Indian costume and stories. He was always smiling and laughing.
