Michael Corr passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Michael was born on June 7, 1947 in New York City and grew up in the Bronx and Merrick, NY. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Elizabeth Corr. He is survived by his beloved partner, Marge Russel, and five siblings- Mary Bijesse, Nancy Lang, Jim Corr, Tom Corr, and Patrick Corr- and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Michael was an enthusiastic and adventurous world traveler. His other passions included avidly reading all kinds of literature and the New York Times, enjoying good food and wine, playing Scrabble, watching movies, listening to music (mostly oldies!), and taking long walks and hikes.
Michael was kind and generous to all- with a special affinity for dogs. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a real zest for life. He was greatly loved by all who knew him and will be missed immensely.
