Obituary of Gertrude McNeely

Mrs. Gertrude "Trudy" McNeely died October 5th, 2018.

She is a long standing resident of North Merrick NY and Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in North Merrick.

She is predeceased by her husbands William E. McNeely and Harold Clifford.

Mrs. McNeely is survived by her children Kathleen Josepher (Robert), Joan Connerty (Frank) Deborah Iobbi (John) and Will McNeely (Jennifer). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren William, Daniel and Kelli Josepher; Joseph, Jennifer Timothy and Allison Connerty; Kevin and Kaitlyn Iobbi; Andrea, William, Sean and Kerri McNeely. She is the beloved great grandmother of Jack Connerty.

Trudy is predeceased by her siblings Walter Davis, Pat Farrell, William Davis and Rosemary Cavaliere.

Mrs. McNeely will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday October 11th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home in Merrick, NY. Mass on the 12th at 10:15AM will be offered at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 720 Merrick Avenue, North Merrick. She will be interred in The Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury NY.
