In 1968, Coach O'Keefe was my 8th grade football coach at St. Joe's in Wilmette, IL
We went undefeated because he instilled in us a belief in ourselves. It was one of my happiest moments in my life. What a great man he was.
My condolences to his family and may God Bless Coach O'Keefe.

My world has lost a very special person in Ray O'Keefe. Loving , kind, handsome and so many other attributes. As a young girl he was my first love wishing I could change the rules on cousins marrying. Will always love you Ray.

To Terry O'Keefe, Jackie O'Keefe Sclafani, Maureen O'Keefe Murphy and the whole family:
I just heard the news about Raymond and want to send you all my deepest sympathy for your loss of husband and brother (father, grandfather, uncle). I have such fond memories of Raymond from my own childhood, and remember him as such a warm and loving man with a great sense of humor. Ray was like a celebrity in our Mellow Lane neighborhood of little kids, and he always made us squeal with joy whenever he showed up in his pink Rambler. He always had us laughing, and his laugh was often the loudest. He was a good big brother to Maureen, and so kind to me (her shy friend and sidekick). I will always think of Ray O'Keefe with love in my heart, and hope your own rich memories of Raymond will bring you all much comfort. May God bless him.
With love and sorrow, Meredith Weidenman
