I give thanks to God for having known and worked with Tom when I first began pastoring Sacred Heart in North Merrick. He was an active member of the Clergy Council in Merrick, a supportive member to the other pastors, an ever present support at ecumenical gatherings and a man who in the words of Pope Francis had "the smell of his sheep" about him. May his good works follow him into the heavenly kingdom and may he rest in the peace of the LORD OF US ALL.
