Obituary of Joseph G. Spolizino

Joseph G. Spolizino, age 84, of Merrick NY died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Meadowbrook Care Center of Freeport, NY. Mr. Spolizino was born in 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Margaret (Sorrentino) Spolizino. He married Maureen Hille.

He is retired from LILCO havng served as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

He is survived by his wife: Maureen (Hille) Spolizino and their children Elaine Spolizino (Steven), Nancy Acquafredda (Norris), Paul Spolizino (Sally), John Galligan (Beth) and Kirsten Harvey (James). Joseph is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grand Children.

Among his hobbies are golf, skiing and traveling. He enjoyed skiing with the Grumman Ski Club.

Mr. Spolizino was cremated privately. The family is receiving family and friends, at N.F. Walker, Inc. – Merrick Funeral Home, for Memorial Visitation (Wake) on Wednesday April 25 from 5 to 9pm. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 26 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
