To Spiro, Pauline, Maria, Tommy and Lanie,
Just wanted to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know it been years, but I can clearly remember my 'younger' years with Dottie. She always had a fun loving personality (plus being an outstanding cook). I can see it today, Dottie and others sitting on the front steps in the summer months, bringing out food that she cooked, sharing with all around her. She certainly found more joy in giving then in receiving.
My dad died 8 years ago on July 18, 2009. Who would have ever thought two neighbors would leave this earth on the same day 8 years apart. So this day is even more memorable for me.
The memories of Stuyvesant Avenue will live on forever.
