I am so fortunate that I heard Gertrude Bellafante's name announced at Mass on Sunday so that I found out the bittersweet news of her passing from this world on Dec. 29, 2016.
Gertrude was an extraordinary woman and it was my and my husband, Dan's privilege and blessing to have known her and her elegant and devoted husband, George.
What a wonderful reunion they must be having!
I look forward to the day when I, too, will be reunited with my husband who left us on Jan. 7, 2016
My sincerist condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you, Ginia, Deak and young George.
I will join with you and all ----at the 11A.M.Mass on Wed., Jan. 4 to remember her, celebrate her life and pray that she is Resting in the Spirit!
