Devoted father of Janet Ratner (Alan), June Clifford (The late Tom), John (Pam), Jeff (Cathleen) and James (Rosita).
Beloved grandfather of Robin Ceccarini, Kristopher Clifford, Nichole Tardiff and Joanne, Erika and Laura Josephson; and Great Grandfather of Allison Ceccarini, Charlotte Clifford, Livia Tardiff and Judah Clifford.
He is a WWII ARMY Veteran 1943-1944.
He was the owner of JOE ACTIVE Contracting in North Merrick NY.
Visiting will be at N.F. Walker,Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick on Tuesday the 8th and Wednesday the 9th 2-4:30 and 7-9. There will be a Prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday the 9th at 8pm.
Burial will follow on Thursday the 10th of November 2016 at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton NY at 11:30am.
