Obituary of Edmund F. Stalzer

Edmund F. Stalzer passed away on April 24, 2016. He was 57 years old and passed in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Glendale, New York, to Karl and Emma Stalzer on June 14, 1958. He was the second oldest of four siblings Roland Stalzer, John Stalzer, and Stefanie Roemer. He met Geraldine Vopelak while they were both working at Morgan Stanley, and they married in July of 1990. They moved to Merrick, New York, in 1991 and had two children, Robert and Kerri Stalzer. Ed was an Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse. He was very involved in his children's lives, coaching his son in baseball and basketball and his daughter in softball. He worked in the Five World Trade Center Building during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, gardening, and biking, but most of all spending time with family and friends. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and co-worker.
