He served in the Navy during the the Korean war from 28DEC1950 to 21OCT1954.Was awarded the Navy Occupation Service Medal (European Clasp)

Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Girardin. Devoted father of Ernest X.Girardin (Joan), James Girardin, Robert Girardin (Marilyn), Michael Girardin (Erin) and Helen Girardin. Loving Grandfather of 12 and Great Grandfather of 10. Also survived by his ten brothers and sisters.
American Legion Services Sunday 7:15PM
Funeral Monday January 4, 2016 at 10AM. Interment with Navy Honors at Calverton National Cemetery.
Visiting will be Sunday, January 3 from 2-4&7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
