He served in the Army from 1967 to 1969. He is the owner of Don Juan Restaurant in Long Beach NY
Beloved husband of Marie (nee Salazar). Devoted father of Jacqueline Gonzales (Richard), Kevin Flores, Erik Melendez, Marcus Melendez (Michelle) and Jonathan Melendez. Dear brother of Edwin Melendez. Loving Grandfather of Nine.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Monday, November 9 at Cure Of Ars R. C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
Visiting will be Saturday, November 7 from 2-4&7-9PM and Sunday, November 8 from 2-4&7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
