Doris A. Carroll, age 92, of, Freeport died Saturday, August 1, 2015 at South Nassau Communities Hospital of Oceanside, NY. Mrs. Carroll was born in Queens, NY. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Adele (Sherman) Dow. . She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Carroll on 1998.
She was employed by Alexander's Department Store in Valley Stream as a Cashier.
The funeral will be held 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5 at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY with Deacon George Bruck officiating. Burial will be in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing on Thursday, August 6 at 10:45am
Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 5 from 2-4:30 and 7-9pm at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
