Anthony DeRosa, age 80, of 121 Henry Road, Merrick died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Winthrop University Hospital of Mineola, NY. Mr. DeRosa was born January 12, 1935 in Brooklyn NY.
He served in the Army during the the Korean war. He was Retired FDNY Ladder Co. 158. After he retired he was a Building Operation Manager.
Beloved husband of Sally ( nee Miller.) Devoted father of Ellen Dawson (Michael), Frank DeRosa (Roxane), Robert DeRosa and Anthony DeRosa (Alice). Loving brother of Marie Foran and Frank DeRosa. Dear grandfather of Keith, Jessica, Ashley, Casey, Christina, Nicole, Courtney and Anthony. Great Grandfather of Kaia, Lucas, Cameron, Jayden, Joseph and Lila.
A Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 am on Monday, July 27 at Sacred Heart R. C. Church, 720 North Merrick Avenue, North Merrick, NY Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale
Visiting will be Saturday, July 25 from 7 - 9PM and Sunday, July 26 from 2-4&7-9PM at N. F. Walker, Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
