I know it's been four years, but I just now learned of Joey's passing. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. He was such a great guy and much too young to be taken from you. I knew him for over 15 years, dating back to your Baldwin salon. It took a long time to find someone who could cut hair like he did. When I moved to Ohio, besides finding new doctors, finding a new hairdresser was a real challenge. When you find someone good, you stick with them. And, truly, if I didn't live 9 hours away, I would still have been going to him. I loved talking to him about his kids and I can just imagine how much he loved being a grandfather. He was definitely one-of-a-kind. My deepest sympathies go out to Maureen, Shannon & Sam as well as the rest of his family.

I’m just now reading all of these amazing memories of my father. I want you all to know that this means so much to my family and I. Thank you for sharing your experiences you had with my father. He was an amazing man and made a positive impact on every person he came in contact with. The only thing I can say about his passing is “only the good die young”. I truly feel lucky to have his been his daughter and even luckier to have had him in my life for 30 years. Once again, thank you all!

Dear Maureen & Family
I just found out about Joey. I'm shocked and so sorry for your loss. What a great guy he was. I always looked forward to his haircuts. We both commiserated about losing our hair & would joke about who has more. And of course we talked about sports, family, working out - it was alway a pleasure to hang with him in his private area.

You have my sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Please allow God to comfort you through His promise to care for our dead loved ones at John 5:28,29 through the resurrection so that we can be reunited. It's so stressful to deal with the death of a loved one because Death was never supposed to be a part of life so God didn't create us with the ability to be content with this loss but our loving creator, Jehovah God, promises to do away with death {Isaiah 25:8} and the one who causes death Satan{Hebrews 2:14} real soon through His Kingdom in the hands of His Son Christ Jesus so that His purpose for mankind can be realized which is to live on a paradise earth under perfect and peaceful conditions. {Genesis 1:27,28; Psalms 37:9-11,29}

I was so sorry to hear the sad news….
I never met anyone so kind & proud of his family, especially his children, Sammy & Shannon,
& his new grandchild & daughter in law Alex.
The love & respect he showed Maureen….was like none other.
I know all of this, is
a small consolation, as it will be to see Joe live on thru his kids and grandchildren.
