SCHAPER - Ruth F. of Merrick on July 14, 2014, at age 99. Beloved wife of the late William. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Spranaitis, Irene Butterfield, James Schaper (Korrine), Thomas Schaper and the late Stephen Schaper. Also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, her thirteen great-grandchildren and her 3 great-great grandchildren. Visiting Friday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the N.F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue Merrick. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10am at at Sacred Heart RC Church. Interment, Pinelawn Memorial Park.
