George A. Simos of Merrick New York died on June 29, 2014 at the age of 99 years. He is predeceased by his wife Artemkis who died in 1999. George is survived by his daughter Elaine Guigliano and her husband Joseph and Michael Simos and his wife Roberta Daar. He retired as a Chef from Windows of the World in 1984. Mr. Simos served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Services have been entrusted to N.F. Walker, Inc. - Merrick Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick. Visitation will be Wednesday July 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be at The Cathedral of St. Paul 110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY 11550 Thursday the 3rd at 10AM. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens NY. Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
