Our hearts are broken with Dad's passing.
My fondest memories of Walter are a dear man who always shared some wonderful historical stories of Massapequa in the early days and a funny man who always complemented us on trimming our sidewalk tree so he could walk under it. Whenever the tree needed trimming, I would ask Dad to do the "Walter Test" to see if he could walk unobstructed under it. He was my "rule of thumb" on our tree trimming.
He will be sorely missed but I know that he is at peace, without pain or difficulties, with Mom and a God who will reward him for his beautiful life. May he rest in peace with the angels and may you, Nancy, and the entire family know that you are VERY special and will be blessed a thousandfold for your sacrifice, loyalty and wonderful care of Dad and Mom. Love, Pat and Family
