Obituary of Eve Jaworowski
Eve Jaworowski
December 24, 1952 - January 18, 2024
Eve Jaworowski of Lords Valley, PA passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on December 24, 1952, in Freeport, NY to Paul and Florence Jaworowski.
She was the youngest of ten siblings. Eve was a lifelong caregiver of her mother Florence. She was born and raised in Freeport, NY and moved to PA later in life. She was a teacher’s assistant at Delaware Valley Senior High School in Milford, PA where she devoted many years serving special needs children.
She was a beautiful woman who was gifted with a lovely voice and enjoyed dancing. Despite having an extremely large extended family, she would never fail to remember to give you a call on your birthday or call when you were sick. One of the things she greatly enjoyed was the holiday seasons, where she would decorate her house to the hilt. Over the years she had befriended people at her local Catholic church and would especially enjoy the gatherings they had during the holidays. She was nicknamed “Snow White” and for good reason. She had a special connection with the woodland animals that surrounded her residence, especially Rocky the Racoon. She was sometimes so compassionate that she would put their needs before her own. They gave her so much joy and are sure to miss her greatly.
She is survived by her long-time partner Ray Forte and her 3 siblings, Joan Giordano, Wanda Colyer, and Eleanor Murray. She is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews. She was Godmother to Judd Jaworowski and Brittany Douglass. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Florence DiGennaro, Carol Foley, and Denise Murrey; and her brothers Ned Jaworowski, John Jaworowski, and Thomas Jaworowski.
Visitation will be held at the NF Walker Funeral Home at 2039 Merrick Ave., Merrick, NY 11566 on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 10 am at NF Walker Funeral Home in Merrick, NY. Burial to follow at Greenfield Cemetery at 650 Nassau Road Uniondale, NY 11553.
There are no words to describe how greatly she will be missed. Gone too soon. Forever loved. Always remembered.
