Though I only knew Keith for a short time I knew right away what a wonderful guy he was. Friendly, fun and so full of life. The first day I met him and his beautiful family it was like I had known them my whole life. There are no words that can describe the extent of this loss but I feel honored that I got to know him. My condolences to Rene, Kayla and Aidan. You are all in our prayers.

We cherish each and every memory we have of Keith. We are shocked and saddened over his passing. We have so many memories we've shared over the years; the laughs; the jokes; the stories. All this is so unbelievably unfair." We wish you peace and love and you will live in our hearts always, Keith. Our prayers are with you and the family."

I met "Keith L. Heeley" at Rank Travel Masters Resorts USA in Brooklyn on the corner of Avenue U and East 16th Street (first job out of college). Sharp as a tack and able to close a deal with his sense of humor and smile, I processed his contracts and managed his office. He was up front and honest with me and I with him. Nothing but the utmost respect for him. I couldn't have asked for a better relationship with my boss. I learned so much from Keith. A stand up guy with a wonderful personality. Loved life and his Royal Crown! I teased him often about settling down and finding the right one. Rene Aversa was that ONE! I still remember that silly little dance he'd do when he talked about seeing her. When Resorts Brooklyn closed, Keith was still working in my favor. He recommended me for the Office Manager job at The Manhattan Club to another wonderful supervisor, Nanine Felico Mattei. A recommendation from Keith Heeley was GOLDEN. I've met wonderful people from Resorts to TMC. I thank God for crossing paths with Keith. I cherish the memories and lessons learned from him this day and always. I'm thankful to have kept in touch with the Heeley's and received holiday cards showcasing their two BEAUTIFUL children. I'm praying for them and his soulmate to get through this. How often are we priviledged to call our boss and former boss a friend? My heart is saddened at the start of this New Year and my prayers are with his family always! Heaven's got another ANGEL!

I'm trying to think of the thing I want to say about this tragedy, but i am having a hard time. The fact is, it truly sucks. We lost one of the hardest things to come by, a great friend. Renee lost a great husband and the children lost their Dad. As far as the rest of us, we lost a wonderful person, who touched each and everyone of us in his own unique way. Over the years, my times home have become infrequent. However, I will never forget the great times we all had together and how hard I would laugh and smile being around Keith. He was a great boss, friend, and human being. The world will never be the same without you Keith. You are loved by all. Sorry I cannot be there. My condolences to all.Anthony Del Vecchio

People say that Google is God--I was just reviewing people in the resort industry via Google as I often do and I was shocked and saddened to come upon this news that Keith has passed away. We worked together in Brooklyn and have kept in touch over the years. Even quite recently Keith came through for me on a business matter. He was always a disciplined leader and reliable colleague. But, most important, he was a man who so clearly cherished his family. Google led me to this terrible news, but God will comfort and protect Keith's family as they try to heal. Please accept my condolences on the loss of this fine man.
