Margaret Mary Halton, (nee` Mulhall), age 89, of Merrick on December 1, 2019
Loving wife, devoted mother, Registered Nurse, History Para-Professional at Calhoun High School.
Beloved wife of the late John D. Halton. Devoted mother of Kevin, John, Thomas, Mary Elizabeth, and the late Michael Patrick. Mother-in-law of Tina, Pat, Jeanne, Arthur, and Paula. Dear sister of Jack Mulhall and the late Peter Mulhall. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Brian, Kevin, Maria, Katherine, Jack, Danny, Michael, Patrick, Thomas, Brendan, Matthew, Bridget, Christopher, and Michael.
She emphasized making God first in her life. She taught her children the value of hard work, responsibility, loyalty, honesty, and devotion to family.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Cure' of Ars R.C. Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram.
Visiting will be Wednesday, December 4 and Thursday, December 5 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at N.F. Walker Funeral Home, 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities Diocese of Rockville Centre or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
