Obituary of Mary R. Erlich
Mrs. Mary R. Erlich of Wantagh, NY passed away on June 13, 2019 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Mary enjoyed working in the public schools for many years. Her most recent job was as the secretary to the superintendent in the Plainedge School District.
Mary loved to be with family and friends. She had a wonderful heart and was always there for anyone in need. She was a second mother, a dear friend, a favorite aunt, and so much more. To her husband, daughter and grandchildren she was a bright light and an inspiration. She always found a way to be there for life’s most precious moments.
Mary was a volunteer at the Daleview Care Center, where she gave of herself even while dealing with her own struggles.
On May 23, 2019 Mary felt so blessed to make it to her oldest grandson’s confirmation at Curé of Ars Church. She was made to feel so welcome and loved by everyone including Father Frank and Most Reverend Robert J. Coyle.
Mary was a faith-filled woman who will be remembered for her strength, courage, sense of humor even in difficult times, and compassion toward others.
